GoodParent Terms of Use
What GoodParent is
A record-keeping app for parents. It helps you write down what happened and prepare what to ask a clinician.
What it is not
It is not a medical device and not medical advice. It does not diagnose, predict, or tell you what a symptom means, and it is never a substitute for professional care.
If something feels urgent, contact your clinician or your local emergency number. Do not wait for an app.
Guidance in Learn and the Food Guide is general information drawn from public health sources, not instructions for your particular child.
Your account
You need an account, you must be old enough to form a contract where you live, and you are responsible for keeping your password to yourself.
One account is one person. Two parents sharing a household each keep their own.
Your content
What you record stays yours. We claim no ownership of it and use it only to provide the app to you.
What you post in the community is visible to other parents. Be decent: no harassment, no unsafe advice presented as fact, no sharing of other people’s private information. We can remove posts and close accounts that break this.
Subscriptions
Some features are part of GoodParent Premium. Where a subscription exists it is billed by Apple or Google, renews automatically unless cancelled, and is managed in your device’s account settings.
Losing Premium never locks you out of what you already recorded. Your entries stay readable and exportable.
Ending it
You can stop using the app, delete your records, or delete your account at any time, from inside the app.
We may suspend an account that is being used to harm other people.
The legal part
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of mistakes, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.
Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
